Wow, we've let some time go by since writing!

Cora's now a big 1 year old. Her Birthday was thankfully low-key --- just like any other Sunday. She didn't like her cake; completely refused to eat it. But she did love opening her presents and each time she opened one we'd be giving her another one and she wasn't interested. She just wanted to play with what she had just opened. She's loving continuing playing with those toys and loves her books as well. She's great at turning pages and has only torn a couple and it has seemed fairly accidental. Her favorite right now is Go, Dog. Go! She still likes Grandfather Twilight and likes Moses the Kitten as well. Whenever we sing Old MacDonald anymore she goes straight for the book that Nana gave her that is basically that song with pictures. A few minutes ago she opened it up to the sheep page and said "Ba!" I never know if things like that are on purpose or not because she doesn't repeat them. :D

With the weather getting warmer we've been outside more, FINALLY! It's so nice to take walks to the park and let Cora swing on the swings. They have pretty cool ones at our park.

We just put our house on the market. So that's a big change for us. Cora and I aren't looking forward to being kicked out on a regular basis but I guess we better hope we get kicked out at all. The upside to all of it is that my house is regularly clean. Now I can have company and it's no biggie because I'm ready all the time!

So the next month or so will be quite busy. Marian graduates June 5th and Virginia graduates June 13th. So we'll have company one weekend and be company the next one. Can't wait to have most of us together!

Well, I haven't much else to share. I've given up on trying to document all the new things that Cora is doing. It's ramping up too much and I can't keep track. There's such understanding and intelligence in her face that sometimes it seems like she talks and has been for a while. Silly me; once she does start talking she won't ever let me forget it. Hope you all are well! We're doing great!

Love,
Calysta, Mike, Cora & Marian
