Cora is 9 months old now. She is around 20 lbs and growing I'm sure. She has 7 teeth... I think. She always seems to be popping another one through. Her latest word is "baby" and she pronounces it "Bah-beh." (I'm wondering if I already posted this information... hm.) Whenever she sees a baby, a kid, or herself in a mirror or picture she gets quite excited and starts saying "bah-beh!!" Quite cute.

Mike has been sick with a bad cough for a while now and so he's had to steer clear of her. Now I'm coughing up a storm and it's really hard for me to keep my distance from her! I routinely kiss those fat cheeks and to NOT is practically torture! It's been hard for Mike to stay away from her too. So last night she was playing with him for the first time in a long time and they were getting such a kick out of it. His beard would tickle her hand and she'd laugh hysterically whenever it would brush on the outside or the inside of her hand. It was passed her bedtime and she was doing everything she could to stay awake, like lying on her stomach and banging her face into the mattress repeatedly. Apparently it's a lot of fun. :D

Marian is plugging away at school and work. She finally applied to U of I and got her FAFSA finished so we'll be waiting to hear back about that. She's very much looking forward to being on her own and living the INDEPENDENT life. I think we are too. :D Cora loves her Auntie Marian very much. Whenever I ask Cora, "Where's Auntie Marian??" She starts waving, smiling and looking toward the laptop. Cora has also said some suspicious sounds that sound like they could be "Marian" -- for instance, one recently was: "Meh-ee-uh" (said quite fast).

So that's the news from Moscow, Idaho. If anyone knows anyone who wants to buy a '78 BMW, please get in touch with us; we'd love to hear from them. :D
