December is finally here!! The vacation month! We leave on Saturday for a week long vacation on the Washington coast. Frigid, I know, but we don't get to have the Caribbean two winters in a row. The idea is to sleep in, hang out, breathe a little, talk a little, eat a little, maybe even work out a little. Mike and Cora can spend some quality father/daughter time; I can spend a little mom alone time...

Cora is blitzing through all kinds of changes. She has TWO teeth now!! The first one she got a couple of weeks ago and the second one she got just days ago. They're sharp little buggers and she likes to sharpen them on human flesh - interesting concept to be sure. She enjoys shaking her head from side to side, sniffing loudly through her nose, clawing human flesh, pulling hair, eating cereal, sitting up and falling over and petting the silky tag on her bear "Boomer" with her middle finger while staring at it with crossed eyes and poochy lips. She also loves pat-a-cake in any form and bouncing on knees. Can you tell we think she is so much fun!?

We spent Thanksgiving in Hayden, Idaho, at the Hollands. The Bones were also invited so it was fun to have everyone together for a few hours. We had a feast to be remembered! Then Alanna and Heidi had a birthday and it was such fun to help them celebrate! Cora wasn't the BEST party pal since she was getting tooth #2; but I think Alanna had fun in spite of it all.

Susan left for Japan on the day of Thanksgiving. We have only heard so far that she is wishing she were elsewhere but is making the best of it. The rest of us in Moscow, are glad to be home for now. We get Everett Swanson on Wednesday and Dad is here for work for a couple of days. Company in, company out; the system is smoothly working now... I think.

We hope all is well with everyone else! Love to all!
